You have a magnificent view of the Breckenridge Ski area. You are only a six-minute walk from the new high speed gondola. At the end of the day you can ski down to an easy walk back home.

mid-June surprise snowfall

Our home has a perfect private open yard for children to play. It is safe away from the street. The snow in the yard can be up to two feet deep in the winter...great place to make a snowman. And part of this yard has a slope which children love sliding down in the plastic sleds we furnish. And if you want to stay inside and watch the children playing outside, there are lots of windows to look through.

Lower Level - Hot Tub
The Coleman hot tub is located in a room with a window and is by itself for security and privacy.

Lower Level - Washer and Dryer
The washer and dryer are adjacent to the hot tub room.

Lower Level - Bedroom This is a queen size bed with dresser, closet, full size window with full bath adjoining. All beds have comfortable mattresses.

Lower Level - Bathroom
The full size tub/shower, commode and sink are convenient to the bedroom and has a second entrance for access from the hot tub. The in-floor heating is kind to your feet when you wake in the night or step out of the shower. There are plenty of monogrammed towels — same towels the Broadmoore Hotel in Colorado Springs uses.

Lower Level - Den / Game Room
It has a wet bar/frigerator. for snacking. It has in-floor heating for comfy floor TV watching as well as two sleeper sofas which double for lounging or bedding down for night. Book shelves are full of books for reading yourself to sleep.

Main Level - Living Room
The stair case comes up from the Garage and Lower Levels and returns up towards the Second Level. The Living Room is open up to the Loft Area on the Second Level giving a feeling of volume and openness.

The living room has cable TV, CD, DVD and VCR.

Beside the sofa there are two reclining wing back chairs and a rocker and throws to keep you cozy.

The fireplace is a sealed unit giving instant warmth. On one side, the bookcases are filled with books for those who wish to skip a ski day and just relax by the fire and read.

Main Level - Dining Room and Entry
The dining room has an easy to use expandable table to seat 10, made by an Amish Woman in Kansas. The extra boards are stored inside the table.

Main Level - Kitchen
The homeowners like to cook so the kitchen is well supplied for you to use as well, including small appliances, blenders, food processor, Kitchen Aid mixer and small hand mixer, electric coffee grinder ... two coffee pots (one for decaf and one for regular). The stove is a self-venting 4 burner electric with large oven. Lots of pots, pans, cutting knives. Plus a microwave, double sink ... granite countertops, dishwasher. Side by Side built in Refrigerator.

Main Level - Entrance / Porch
The front entry looks out on the common area in Wellington Square. A great place for small children to slide around in the deep snow that can accumulate during the winter. And there are plastic sleds and disks provided in the garage.


2nd Level - Guest Room (2 Queen Beds)
This bedroom has two queen size beds with comfortable mattresses as well.

2nd Level - Loft Balcony (view of 10 Mile Range)
This bedroom also has its own private balcony making a "Kodak Moment" looking toward the historical church with the mountains stretching out in the background.

2nd Level - Guest Bathroom
The bath has a shower/tub combo and commode in far end with privacy door. The double sink has a doorway to the hall ... and separated from bedroom with pocket door.

3rd Level - Loft
This nice loft has a trundle bed that can open out to two separate single beds. The area is semi-private and overlooks the living room. The L shape loft allows space for a desk to catch up on any work you brought with you. From this point you can step out on the deck looking West to the ski slopes. Fax machine is provided.

3rd Level - Master Bedroom and Bathroom
Master Bedroom suite with King size comfortable mattress. It has an out door deck. You wake in the morning to a beautiful view of the ski mountains to the West.

The bethroom has a full luxurious bath with large jetted tub, separate shower, separate water closet. His and hers sinks/dressing table. All cabinets were made by Mennonite Craftsmen of Cherry. The counter tops in all baths are varnished cherry with inset ceramic sinks.

Owners, Ted and Karen Dreier

We welcome you to our home. We have grandkids in Franklin, TN, and Coppell, TX, so in the winter we spend time with them, thus leaving our home open for rent — you who have grandkids understand that. Since this is our home, everything has been upgraded like you want for your home, in contrast to strictly rental property. And since Karen is a great cook, the kitchen is very complete.

Those who know us might tell you that next to our grandkids, Moozie the Cow gets the rest of our attention. Moozie is the Ambassador of Kindness for the Children's Kindness Network, a nonprofit that we founded in 1998, with a mission of Building a Culture of Kindness — Beginning with pre-K. This has been a pure volunteer activity for us — so to say the least, we appreciate you renters.
